TSZ Shan Monastery is a large Buddhist temple complex that includes the Museum of Buddhist Art, along with various charitable and research institutions. The museum houses an impressive collection of Buddhist artefacts gathered from all over the world.
In 2018, REIER supplied 36 display cases for the museum’s initial installation, including a 9 m wide special case with curved glazing as well as a series of hooded display cases with electro-hydraulic opening. Due to the climatic conditions in Hong Kong, all showcases were equipped with active humidity control. The anti-reflective glazing and high-quality LED lighting complete the presentation of the exhibits.
