When the Saxon State and University Library Dresden, known as “SLUB”, opened in its new building in 2002, it represented the premiere of Germany’s most modern library. Within its connected museum of books and photographs, is SLUB’s Zimelienzimmer (Cemelia Room) which contains some its most significant treasures.
REIER’s display cases here feature a sophisticated fibre optic lighting system, that to reduce the risk of fire is housed in a specially-equipped separate chamber.
