In 2012, the museum, dedicated to the battle of Borodino, celebrated the bicentennial anniversary of the Russian victory over Napoleonic France. The central element and highlight of a tour of the museum is Franz Rubeau’s 115 meter long by 15 meter high circular panoramic painting.
The newly designed permanent exhibition on the two lower floors received display cases from REIER that are color-coated on the reverse side and equipped with LED lighting. They blend in perfectly the REIER-manufactured wall constructions and form a harmonious unit.
