The new National Museum of Qatar gives voice to the history of Qatar and its people from earliest times to the present day and onwards towards its future. The unusual outer shape of the building complex is modelled on a desert rose, a crystal structure made of grains of sand.
For this unique Museum, which is unparalleled worldwide, REIER supplied 33 showcases of various types and sizes. The showcases, which reach into the supporting structure of the buildings ceiling and are perfectly adapted to the sloping floor are only a small part of the high demands which were implemented in this project.
