The “Musée des Beaux-Arts” in Dijon was founded in 1787 and is renown throughout France and Europe for its important collection of paintings, sculptures, arts, crafts and antiquities.
Located in the east wing of the former palace of the Duke of Burgundy, the museum has undergone an extensive 4-year restoration which includes REIER supplied display cases, media stations and other presentation furniture for the new permanent exhibition. Made exclusively of metal and glass, the low-reflective display cases offer a modern design and are equipped with sophisticated security and humidity control systems. They also feature object-friendly, state-of-the-art LED lighting technology.
