For 34 years, before sinking in July, 1545, the “Mary Rose” had been the flagship of King Henry VIII. Bringing these treasures to light proved the easiest part of their recovery. The question remaining however, was how to display items that had been under sea water for centuries and as a result are extremely sensitive to environmental influences.
The solution was REIER’s fully air-conditioned display cases, which are controlled by a central computer. These display cases provide the ideal environment for the more-than 19,000 artifacts exhibited. As a result. They can now be admired by the public without incurring any damage. For years to come.
