The Morgan Library & Museum - McKim Building / New York

The Morgan Library is a public library in New York’s Manhattan, whose foundation is the private library of the American banker JP Morgan. In November 1966 its main building was designated a National Historic Landmark.

Renovations to the interior in 2010 restored the library to its original grandeur. For which REIER made 35 display cases, fitted with hinged doors and electro-hydraulic lifting technology. Walnut veneers on the free-standing cabinets compliment the 19th century décor

For the wall niche display cases, REIER produced special profiles to suit the historic setting and at the same time allow for use of modern hinges and locks. Illuminating the cases are fiber optic lighting with LED technology.
