Located in the winter sports paradise of Saalfelden Leogang in Austria’s Pinzgau region, the Leogang Mining and Gothic Museum found its origin with the intersection of mining culture and Gothic art. The exceptional quality and depth of the collection is highly regarded throughout Europe and often included in prominent special exhibitions held in cooperation with major museums.
The museum expanded its mission to visitors with the opening of a second site, the Turnhaus, in May 2019. The restoration of the medieval structure considerably enlarged the exhibition area and now includes more than 40 new display cases supplied by REIER that feature anti-reflective glazing and LED lighting.
