Since 1982, Oschatz has been home to the only scale museum (Waagenmuseum) in Central Germany. Since 15 May 2022, the special museum has been presenting a completely redesigned exhibition.
In addition to interesting explanations of the history of scales in words and pictures, an overview of the historical development of scales and of the traditional production of well-known Oschatz scale factories is conveyed by over 100 exhibited scale exhibits as well as numerous weights and accessories.
REIER supplied three W52 wall display cases and two H14 freestanding display cases for the Oschatz scale museum.
